WHY I AM A ROTARIAN: FARY MOINI
SEPTEMBER 16, 2007
WWW.WHYIAM.ORG

Days after months after years-- many times--I was asking myself and I am sure many of you asked the same question ”why am I here?” and “what is the purpose of my existence?”

There was such an emptiness in my heart, no matter how much money I made / shoes / clothes and jewelry I bought and many wonderful trips I took, I still felt something was missing.

Then the long and short of the story is that I was introduced to my Rotary club and that was the classroom I was looking for, because many great teachers helped me to find the answers for my existence in this world and helped me in the process in finding my passion in life and fulfilling the emptiness in my heart.

Do I need to give any more reasons why am I am Rotarian? Simply, I found my true self and the meaning of life through Service above Self.
