SECTION CHAIR, WOLFGANG ZIEGLER COMMITTEE WHAT'S NEW? UPDATES

Russell Greiner, our 3rd president, wrote a four page article about general secretary Chesley R. Perry and had it published on a month when the GS and editor of The Rotarian was on vacation. This is the only known article detailing Perry's life and work known to exist. It is from the March 1914 Rotarian. The assistant editor explains that he was compelled by the international president to include this article and reveal the true nature of our general (and most modest) secretary.

Chesley R. Perry, general secretary and editor C.R.P. from 1872 to the present time Teacher, National Guard, War Correspondent Insurance, Investments, Politics, then Rotary! Since becoming general secretary, just 4 years ago, he's been very active.
