The 1925 Convention was held in Cleveland, Ohio between June 15th and 19th. 10,233 registered to attend representing 1,843 Clubs. By this time, Rotary Clubs were approaching 3,000 in number.

The President of the Rotary Club of Cleveland, George H. Miller, welcomed all to his city - the "City with a Soul". The entertainment was lavish including a pageant by Robert H. Burnside.

The Paul Harris message was short but sweet. He ended by wishing "success to the Cleveland Convention and health, happiness and prosperity to all assembled there."
One important historical character attended the Convention, Harris' old friend Silvester Schiele.

1925 saw the first mainland European office of Rotary International open in Zurich, Switzerland (February 7th). Rotary was stretching outwards as a Pan-Pacific Conference was planned for Honolulu next year.
