William B. Boyd - New Zealand

William Boyd retired in 1995 as general manager of Gordon & Gotch Magazines, Ltd., New Zealand's largest magazine distributor. He is trustee of New Zealand's Trees for Survival Trust and has represented Rotary on the National Kidney Foundation and the Hutt Valley Intellectually Handicapped Society. He is chair of the Rotary Down Under Management Committee. A Rotarian since 1971, Bill is a member of the Rotary Club of Pakuranga. He has served RI as district governor, RI training leader, International Assembly assistant moderator and moderator, committee member and chair, task force assistant general coordinator, Rotary information counselor, regional Rotary Foundation coordinator, treasurer, and director. He is a recipient of The Rotary Foundation's Citation for Meritorious Service and its Distinguished Service Award. He also received a Meritorious Service Award from Rotary Down Under.
