Black and white photographic portrait of Walter Drummond. Tag on the frame states "Walter Drummond one of the organizers of the Melbourne Australia [Rotary Club] and its first secretary". It was Australian Walter Drummond who, after a visit to the Rotary Club of Chicago in December 1913, twice visited the Harrises at their home in Comely Bank to find out about starting Rotary in his own country, but it was not until the end of the war in Europe that this was done. Drummond later became the second secretary of the Melbourne Club. He died young and it was to his memory that Paul Harris planted the first tree in his goodwill garden at Comely Bank.
