The Yoshida family was one of the best known group of artists in the Meiji period, after 1870.  Perhaps the most outstanding was Hiroshi Yoshida, 1876-1950, and this may be by him.  He was the leading exponent of wood block printing, a traditional craft.  He toured extensively in the 1920s and 1930s and his work became popular in the U.S.A. and in Europe.
