On the West Wall of Paul's Office today. there is a black and white photograph of a mountain landscape with many horse drawn carriages. It is marked "4086 GUDVANGEN". Paul Harris visited the Bergen Rotary Club in Norway in September 1932 before taking the liner, S.S.Stavangerfjord, back to New York . While there, he travelled around the Western part of Norway with Rotarians from the Bergen club. Gudvangen is a well known beauty spot in the area and from here, the party travelled further up the valley to Stalheimskleiven. |
