This black and white photograph of Paul Harris, taken by Charles R. Frazier, appeared in "Images of Rotary: A World Imagined", by Rotary International, page 54. with the caption:-
This photograph shows Paul Harris enjoying sukiyaki in Tokyo in 1936. It was probably taken at the Maple Club where, in 'Peregrinations 2' page 47, Harris writes that "We lunched that day in true Japanese style ... served by geisha girls kneeling before us as we sat on cushions on the floor and fumbled clumsily with our chopsticks." |
