Welcome to Rotary Global History Fellowship's "Peace Journey" This section of RGHF is the work of one of our RGHF members, long time art museum director, artist, author, professor, and Fulbright Fellow Joe Kagle. The section is related to the fourth object of Rotary (see below)

In this section you'll find endorsements from visitors. We welcome yours. You'll also find links to major essay sections by Rotarians and community leaders who write about peace. We have peace essays, peace monuments, peace journeys and more. You can also join in the discussion at www.rghfforum.org with a membership in RGHF.

We have created this website to encourage, even provoke thought processes. "System for Peace" is one page that you may find frivolous or you may be amazed. "Notes from the Wilderness" are essays from you, our visitors. We invite you to participate by joining us at www.joinrghf.org.  The "Ming Dynasty Journey" is a world of its own, where hours can be spent in contemplation. "An American Supra" is Joe's five-book account of work he did as a Fulbright Fellow. Also Joe, Frank Deaver, and Bernard Rapoport offer over 100 essays on peace. "Let there be peace on earth and let is begin with" - you.

THE OBJECT OF ROTARY

To encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular to encourage and foster:
First. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
Second. High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness all useful occupations; and the dignifying by each Rotarian of his occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
Third. The application of the ideal of service by every Rotarian to his personal, business, and community life;
Fourth. The advancement of international understanding, good will, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional men united in the ideal of service.
