-1999. Steering a matching grant project to set in place  a water pump powered by solar energy for a village in the Chihuahua district in Mexico . A collaboration of alternative science & engineering from LANL, Rotarian good will and dedication on both side of the border.

- 2001. Conducting a reseeding project after the Cerro Grande fire in Los Alamos with the collaboration of several clubs form the region. 60 % of the trees planted by Rotarians are still alive and growing!

- 2002-present. Actively participating in the Tri-District convention (4410-5470--5520) that brings together Rotarians from 3 districts to partner on humanitarian projects.
