RC of Paramaribo was organized by RC Willemstad, Curacao. It was organized 2 February 1953 and chartered 21 June 1953. No Charter members alive.

Hon. member was the last Dutch Governor/First President of Suriname. Dr. Johan Ferrier who visited our 50th Anniversary on his last trip to Suriname.  It is the oldest Club in District 7030.  Ranked Top giving club to TRF in our District in 2005.

One of the so called "Old Boys" Clubs, but with rotating seating, now having 2nd Generation Members and 3rd ones entering the "League" Traditional, but fast if need for action. RAM and HIV/AIDS active. 3-H responsive and volunteering for clean water for remote villages!

Open to all "Youth Initiative" with an active New Generations Highway. Helping Interact and Rotaract.

With 2 sister clubs Paramaribo Central and Paramaribo Residence our Centennial project was "A First Aid Kit for all Kids" and First Aid courses to al Primary Schools together with a fire extinguisher. "Kits for Kids" enhances the issue of the importance of good first aid and being conscious of risks and remedies.
