THE HISTORY OF DISTRICT 3050

A Part of Our History of Rotary in INDIA

1931-32 PROVISIONAL DISTRICT 'A'
  Comprising whole of India.

1936-37 SAME AS PROVISIONAL DISTRICT 'A'
  With minor changes

1944-45 DISTRICT 89
  The portion including Bombay presidency including Kutch, central provinces excluding Jabalpur District, Hyderabad (Deccan) Kathiawar and western Indian states.

1949-50 DISTRICT 51
  Previous District 86 - complete Rajputana was in this District.

1952-53 DISTRICT 51
  That Portion North of the northern boundaries of the District of Thana, Nasic and East Khandash, Northern and western boundaries of the state of Madhya Pradesh. West of Eastern boundary of the state of Madhya Bharat and South of the Northern boundary of the state of Rajasthan.

1957-58 DISTRICT 304
  Same as previous District 51

1962-63 DISTRICT 305
  Gujarat State, Maharastra State, that portion including the district of west khandesh. Madhya Pradesh, that portion west of the eastern boundaries of the district Niwar (In which Khargon is locked) Indor, Sehore, Raisen, Bhilsa, Guna, Shivpuri, Datia, behind and the state of Rajasthan.

1970-71 DISTRICT 305
  Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, those portion north of a line running from Dwarka on the west (Including Dwarka) to the point where the northern boundary of the District of Bhopal, the Tropic of Cancer and North of the nothern boundaries of the District of Bhopal and Raisen and west of the western boundaries of the District of the Saugor in Madhya Pradesh.

1972-73 DISTRICT 305
  Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, those portion north of the line running from Dwarka on the west (Including Dwarka) to the point where the western boundary of the District of Bhopal crosses the tropic of Cancer and North of District of Bhopal and Bhilsa.

1984-85 DISTRICT 305
  Redistricting took place as under with effect from 1st July 1984, clubs transferred to District mentioned below:-
304 :- Jaora, Lunawada, Mandasaur, Neemuch, Ratlam, Santrampur, Shajaur
306 :- Dhrangadhra, Jamnagar, Kapadwanja, Mithapur, Morvi, Surendra Nagar, Halvad
309 :- Hanumengarh, Sangaria, Sri Ganganagar, Suratgarh

Those clubs which continue to remain in District 305, and are still there, are in the following revenue District:
GUJARAT:- Ahemedabad, Kutch, Gandhinagar, Mehsana, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha.
RAJASTHAN:- Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Barmer, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Churu, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jisalmer, Jalore, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Jodhpur, Kota, Nagaur, Pali, Sawai Madhopur, Sirohi, Tonk, Udapur.
MADHYA PRADESH:- Bhind, Guna, Gwalior, Morena, Rajgarh, Shivpuri.

1991-92 DISTRICT 3050
