THE HISTORY OF DISTRICT 2120, Italy

District 2120

The District 2120 was born on 1 July 1995 originating from what was District 190, then District 210 and even later, District 2100.

District 2100 was formed by the Clubs from the regions of Puglia and Lucani (except Lauria) and brought together 2600 members participating in 50 clubs active and committed to the common sense of Rotary service which is understood as promoting good for others.

These activities are common and intrinsic through the dual concept and assertion of the principles and values Rotarians with all their stature and importance, and the implementation of humanitarian and educational activities under the guidance of the Rotary Foundation.

The values that Rotarians in District 2120 express are respected and established in the territory and the community through an extensive planning district which aims to collect and develop actions and ideas of clubs and to disseminate those results in forums and seminars.

In September 2007 there were 50 Clubs of District 2120, which supported 2,572 members.
