This is a Template for all of the Clubs in Each District

 

THE HISTORY OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF (eg Athens), (eg Greece)

A Member Club of District (eg 9999)

 

1. Provide a short description of the town/region/area covered by the club including one or two pictures in "jpg" format.
   A map showing the location of your town would be useful.
2. Provide the date of the inaugural meeting and the charter date.
3. Provide pictures of the original minutes, charter certificate, charter members, original committee, etc.
4. Provide a family tree showing the lineage of the Club, both up and down.

5. Describe any other clubs that your club  has fostered - Rotaract, Interact, Inner Wheel etc. - how, when and where.
5. Describe the prior District numbers in which the club has been placed and the relevant years.
6. Describe Club activities and achievements since its formation, which the club is proud of and will be of interest to readers.
   Again, photos where possible, and including all avenues of service.
7. Provide a list of all Presidents since formation of the club.
8. Provide pictures of old club banners, name tags, memorabilia and merchandise with histories of each item.
9. Provide names and details of famous or honoured people who were/are members of your club. (eg. sports, political, NGO,
   RI Directors, DGs, PHFs etc)
10. The history should be no more than one (1) page of Word text with 2 of your best photos.
11. Don't forget to date  and sign it................ and to check annually if an update is needed.
12. Forward the completed history to us, by contacting us.
